The lamp is extremely attractive and heavy duty, but the lamp shade is really cheap and flimsy. The spot welds holding the shade s ring to the metal rods were poorly done, to the point I think the paint was holding it together more than the weld. One rod s spot weld broke assembling the lamp and a bump to the shade a few days later finished off the other two.
