A wonderful looking, super comfortable recliner that ends up falling short. Chair is too tight for a big person, but if you are short, your feet will not touch the ground as it rocks back when you sit in it. Not a problem if you could lock the rocker, but oops, can t do that. Foot rest has two stops, but lower level is not very tight and it will eventually lift to the higher level. Oh, and you will need thighs like Mary Lou Retton to get the footrest to retract. Don t dare try to do it with the handle or it will break. The reclining back has no stops and is not tight enough to support you in anything but the fully reclined position where you are literally laying down. Great for sleeping, but unless your tv is on the ceiling...
