I personally checked out several Stressless models and the ScanSit makes the grade. The major difference is in the reclining mechanism. On the Stressless the release is on the right side using a lever cable devise which is slightly easier than the ScanSit. The ScanSit using a set screw with a knob under the front of the chair. This makes adjustment a bit more difficult, which is why I only gave it 4 out of 5. That aside the construction and support are identical. The leather, the injected foam, the fit and finish, identical. I m 6 2 198 and the chair is very comfortable. Lastly, the Stressless recliner is endorsed by Chiropractors. Well, I am a Chiropractor and I would recommend this chair to any of my patients looking for a recliner.
