The chair is comfortable as a slipper chair. The color is just like the photo. The piping is not perfect, however, only someone who bouught the chair and inspects everything would notice. I added a throw pillow to the chair. A lumbar pillow works best. Easy assembly...only the wood legs to screw in. Overall very happy with this purchase This green velvet chair really adds a nice touch to my living room.
