It comes in a box that looks like a chair. That made me laugh. The hardest part is taking all the protective plastic off the legs. With just 8 screws, the assembly is a breeze, and the kit even includes a little hex tool. 30 minutes after delivery you are sitting in your spiffy new chair. The metal legs do have small plastic buttons on them to protect hardwood floors. You may want to add felt protectors on top of them for added thickness.
